On April 23, a report on BLACKPINK’s latest achievements was released, which amazed BLINKs.
BLACKPINK made waves with their BORN PINK world tour that electrified thousands of BLINKs around the world.

According to Touring Data, BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” World Tour grossed $78.5 million, or $78,480,521 to be precise. This was recorded in over 26 shows BLACKPINK played in 2022 when their concert tour kicked off in October.

Notably, the quartet sold British girl group Spice Girls, which earned $78.2 million in addition to 13 shows from their “Spice World – 2019 Tour.”

On April 19, BLACKPINK appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where they were featured in its Carpool Karaoke segment.
In the variety section, the BLACKPINK members sang their legendary hits with James Corden, answered interview questions and played plenty of icebreakers.
BLACKPINK then drew attention by singing “Wannabe,” the Spice Girls-era signature track that became popular in the ’90s.

James Corden also spoke about how the Spice Girls were able to influence BLACKPINK on their music.

During the video, BLACKPINK also revealed how much they admire another girl group famous for their music and influence. They have also excelled c.e Group of girls in this record breaking performance.
At 6:21, James asked BLACKPINK if there were any other bands they looked up to for inspiration. BLACKPINK Jennie went on to reveal that the group loves TLC’s music for its diversity of talent and impact.
TLC is also known for releasing nostalgic hits like “No Scrubs”, “Waterfalls” and “Unpretty”.

In the report, BLACKPINK also overtook TLC for top-grossing performances by a girl group. TLC placed third with their 1999–2000 FanMail Tour.
It was followed by “Destiny Filled…and Lovin’ It” by R&B trio Destiny’s Child, who last toured from April 9 to September 10, 2005.
The report also mentioned BLACKPINK’s history with their performance at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
