On April 28, Nam Dohyon requested interim measures, demanding the termination of his contract with PocketDol Studio.

According to sources, the injunction was granted due to the fulfillment of contractual obligations, about which Nam Dohyon and the company had differing opinions. Acceptance of the request for a restraining order will be announced around May or June.

It was also reported that the trial hearing was originally scheduled for April 12. However, it was later pushed back to April 26 when it got stuck. The agency also shared a brief statement on the matter, confirming the litigation.

“It is absolutely correct that we are in a legal battle with Nam Dohyon.”

Following his 2019 stints with Produce X 101 and project boy band X1, Nam Dohyon became a member of BAE173, which debuted on November 19, 2020.

On October 8, 2022, Nam Dohyon took a temporary hiatus due to health issues. The idol took time during this break to restore his health, according to PocketDol Studio in its official announcement.

“Dohyon’s health has deteriorated due to the long-term effects of COVID-19. In his current condition, it would be difficult for him to carry out his planned activities.”
