On March 1st, KST, Fantagio announced that Rocky was leaving the group and company.

Hello, this is Fantagio.

First of all we want to say thank you to the fans who love and support ASTRO.

After a series of lengthy discussions with Rocky, who has been with ASTRO for seven years, it was decided that Rocky would end his activities as a member of ASTRO and finalize his contract with Fantagio.

We would like to thank Rocky for giving his best as a member of ASTRO throughout this time and we will continue to support him in the future.

Thank you to the fans who supported and took care of Rocky. Please continue to show your interest and support for Rocky as he makes a fresh start.

Going forward, ASTRO will continue as a five-piece group, and members will focus on solo and unit activities. We will support them so that they can work in different areas of the industry.

Since his departure, fans have rediscovered a recent interview in which Cha Eunwoo expressed his feelings about the breakup with the group.

When the group’s seventh anniversary came up in the interview, Eunwoo went straight to the issue of contract renewal.
