Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho discuss the webtoon-adapted movie “Knowing Reader” Soompi

“All-Knowing Reader” is being adapted for the cinema.

Knowing Reader is a famous webtoon that narrates the adventures of Kim Dok Ja. One day, the world is struck by a cataclysm and becomes the universe of his favorite webtoon. So he finds himself in the middle of a story that he is the only one who has read to the end.

On this May 3rd, the media revealed that the webtoon would be entitled to its film adaptation and the names of the first potential actors were announced.

In fact, Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho are currently in talks about the project, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Ahn Hyo Seop was offered the role of hero Kim Dok Ja, while Lee Min Ho was reportedly approached for the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, the main character of the webtoon read by Kim Dok Ja.

The film wants to be serious, with a budget of more than 20 billion won ($14.7 million) invested in the production so far.
