Agust D’s “D-DAY” album now has the best first-day sales by a solo artist in Hanteo history
Even if August d (alias Suga from bts) has just released his new album, D-TAGon April 21st KST, it’s already breaking records with the highly anticipated release!
With D-TAGAgust D now holds the title for most first-day sales of any solo K-pop artist Hanteo.
The physical album sold 1.07 million copies in the first 24 hours, according to Hanteo!

With this number he surpasses the previous record holder, another member of BTS. jiminwho was most recently the top-selling solo artist on day one of FACE March. It had about 1.02 million sales in the first 24 hours.

The album’s title track, “Haegeum,” also surpassed 10 million views less than 24 hours after its release.
