9th edition of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping on the Champs de Mars

From 23rd to 25th June 2023 the Longines Global Champions Tour – Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping will take place again. The opportunity to admire the best of show jumping with the Iron Lady as a backdrop.

This year the Champs de Mars will once again be filled with the sound of hooves. For three days, horses and riders will compete at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in show jumping at the highest level. With its idyllic location and accessibility for all, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping manages to bring together both enthusiasts and novices.

A sporting and cultural event

Created at the initiative of Virginie Coupérie-Eiffel, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping is a dual purpose event. It is primarily a high-level competition that is part of the Longines Global Champions Tour. The world’s best drivers compete in individual and team events on this circuit, which consists of 16 stages in all parts of the world. Paris is the 9thth Stage. In addition to these 5* events, there are Level 1* events where amateurs can follow the same course as their champions.

But beyond the competition horses, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping also highlights the other facets of this fascinating animal: leisure horses, show horses and work horses are also represented. Various animations are added to the sports program: the arrival on the Eiffel Road highlights the breeds of the territory, the animations of the village, accessible free of charge, allow to approach the horse in different ways and it is possible to see how it develops differently through Show jumping thanks to equestrian shows or draft horses that roam the course between events. Elegance and the French way of life join the specific values ​​of Paris Eiffel Jumping, represented this year by the mother-daughter duo Pénélope and Eden Leprévost, the ambassadors of these 9th Editing.
