A sporting and cultural event
Created at the initiative of Virginie Coupérie-Eiffel, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping is a dual purpose event. It is primarily a high-level competition that is part of the Longines Global Champions Tour. The world’s best drivers compete in individual and team events on this circuit, which consists of 16 stages in all parts of the world. Paris is the 9thth Stage. In addition to these 5* events, there are Level 1* events where amateurs can follow the same course as their champions.
But beyond the competition horses, the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping also highlights the other facets of this fascinating animal: leisure horses, show horses and work horses are also represented. Various animations are added to the sports program: the arrival on the Eiffel Road highlights the breeds of the territory, the animations of the village, accessible free of charge, allow to approach the horse in different ways and it is possible to see how it develops differently through Show jumping thanks to equestrian shows or draft horses that roam the course between events. Elegance and the French way of life join the specific values of Paris Eiffel Jumping, represented this year by the mother-daughter duo Pénélope and Eden Leprévost, the ambassadors of these 9th Editing.
