8 places to visit in Korea for BTS fans
In Korea, K-pop fans sometimes do what is called a dukhoo tour. Basically it means “Stan Tower”. Fans will identify the (public) places where their favorites have been and devote their whole day to their favorite stars!
We are sure that in the long list of things to do for A.RMYs, one item at the top of the list is visiting Korea. And we’re even more certain that visiting BTS-related places will take up a big chunk of this list.
If you’re ok with that, luckily we’ve compiled a list of some of these places to visit when you come to Korea!
- Bus stop at Jumunjin Beach
The bus stop featured on the cover of the 2017 album You Never Walk Alone was so popular after the album’s release that the city of Gangneung in Gangwon Province decided to build a replica to be used only as a bus stop photo spot for BTS fans.

- Iryeong station
This abandoned train station became very popular overnight after V filmed some Spring Day scenes there.
You are allowed to tour the grounds and take photos, but even though the station has closed, you must be careful when crossing the tracks.

- Yoojung Shikdang
Yoojung Sikdang is the best place to get the BTS feel before their debut.
The group ate very regularly at this restaurant before their debut and later even mentioned it on variety shows.
The restaurant is still open today and is now stocked with BTS merchandise. The group’s favorite dishes are always on the menu: dolsot bibimbap and jeju black pork.

- Daeo Library
Daeo Bookstore is Seoul’s oldest antiquarian book store, established in 1951 and located in the quaint and aesthetically pleasing neighborhood of Seochon Village. The shop is recognizable by its light blue frame and traditional Hanok-style architecture.
Inside, the books are packed to the brim, making it a haven for inspirational philosophers and bookworms – no wonder RM has been here twice!

- HYBE Insight Museum
Opened in May 2021, the HYBE Museum is packed with exclusive content from HYBE artists and allows you to experience music in a unique and immersive way through technology.
In addition to various exhibits, you can see exclusive footage of rehearsals, dance practices, as well as award walls and exhibits dedicated to the history of HYBE.
Be sure to book your ticket online in advance or you will not be able to enter the facility.

- Yongin Daejanggeum Park
You probably remember Suga’s solo MV “Daechwita” as well as we do, because the location chosen for the filming was simply stunning.
In fact, it is the largest outdoor historical kdrama film set in South Korea and features replicas of ancient buildings from the Samguk, Goryeo, and Joseon periods.
The site has been open to the public since 2011, so you are free to enter and take photos yourself.

- mountain reasons
Achasan is a mountain stretching from Seoul to Guri and is a popular hiking spot for Seoulites. The hiking trails last around two hours on average. The mountain is also easily accessible from the Seoul subway!
Members RM and V hiked Mount Achasan in Episode 44 of Run! BTS early morning as a penalty for losing a match. Despite their circumstances, both members agreed that the ride was bound to be a great experience and far from punishing.
To get the full BTS experience, you can start the trek early in the morning and take a break at Goguryeojeong Pavilion to watch the sunrise and eat! If you go later in the day, you still have amazing views of Seoul and the Han River!

- Tourist complex Bomun

Bomun tourist complex is a huge area full of leisure and tourist facilities such as shopping malls, golf courses, castle gardens, etc.
