5 WJSN members are officially leaving Starship Entertainment

five members of wjsn (cosmic girls) decided to leave spaceship entertainment while eight members chose to remain with the company.

According to an exclusive report by JTBCfive WJSN members — crazy, Introduce, xuanyi, chengxiaoetc meiqi – decided not to renew their contracts with Starship Entertainment. The other eight members… Seola, Good, EXY, soobin, eunseo, Yoreum, dajungetc jeonjung – recently decided to renew their contracts with the company.

As of the second half of 2018, WJSN mainly operated as a 10-person group with Chinese members Xuanyi, Cheng Xiao and Meiqi running their own operations in China.

WJSN debuted in February 2016 with 12 members, and Yeonjung was added to the group in July 2016 after debuting with IOI. Starship Entertainment has since confirmed JTBC’s report with its statement.
