5 popular Boys Planet trainees who will not be part of ZEROBASEONE
On April 20th, the survival show “Boys Planet” came to an end and we were able to discover the 9 candidates who are now members of ZEROBASONE (ZB1).
Here are the nine trainees who will make their debut as members of ZEROBASEONE:
- Zhang Hao (Divertissement Yuehua)
- Sung Han Bin (STUDIO GL1EN)
- Seok Matthew (MNH Entertainment)
- Ricky (Divertissement Yuehua)
- Park Gun Wook (Jellyfish Entertainment)
- Kim Tae Rae (WAKEONE)
- Kim Gyu Vin (Divertissement Yuehua)
- Kim Ji Woong (Individual Intern)
- Han Yu Jin (Divertissement Yuehua)
Unfortunately, the remaining 18 participants could not all be part of the group. Of those that didn’t get picked, there are five in particular that caught the attention of fans.
Let’s take a look at these five trainees that we hope fans will see again soon.
- Jay Chang
Jay Chang was definitely one of the show’s most popular trainees. Very soon he showed his vocal abilities and his many talents, like playing different instruments.
He is currently a member of MONT Arena’s pre-debut group and will hopefully make his official debut soon!

- Keita de CIPHER
Right from the start, Keita impressed with his charisma and his rapping. He trained at YG Entertainment for 5 years and was a Treasure Box competitor but was eliminated. He was one of the most popular on Boys Planet so his elimination came as a shock.

However, Keita has already piqued the interest of talented rapper pH-1, who told him to “contact him.”
- Kum Junhyeon
Kum Junhyeon displayed various talents throughout the season, including choreographing an entire performance. The singer even sang an OST for K-Drama Summer Strike without making his official debut before the show.

Nobody was more upset that Junhyeon didn’t make the last group than number five, Park Gunwook, who devoted a large part of his speech to him.

- Maeda Haruto
Despite his popularity, Haruto was eliminated just before the finale. The Apprentice was very talented and seemed to get better with each episode.
He once participated in JYP Entertainment’s Loud Survival Program, so hopefully he can debut soon.
- Hey de PENTAGON
After all, a lot has been talked about Hui since the show started, some didn’t understand what he was doing there since he comes from a popular group.

However, as the episodes progressed, he was humble and showed great talent. Although they haven’t debuted yet, fans are hoping the group gets more exposure.
