5 Boys Planet contestants left the show before its debut
More than a year ago, Mnet announced that the sequel to the survival show Girls Planet 999 that Kep1er brought to life was in the works. This time it will be a male group. The show will therefore be called “Boys Planet”.
The show will be released in February 2023, and kpop fans are more than excited to see which trainees will be part of the program. There will also be some familiar faces, such as Hui from the Pentagon.
Unfortunately, some trainees will not be debuting in the Boys Planet project group, having already left the series before the February 2nd air date.
Here are the five who left the show.
- Yeom Taegyum
Also known as CiiPHER’s TAG, he left the show for personal reasons. He was trained at RAIN COMPANY.
- Yo Eun Woo
Unfortunately, this contestant left the show before the first presentation, so we don’t know his face.
- Tao Yuan
Also known as Dowon from OCJ NEWBIES, he competed under One Cool JAcso Entertainment and will debut with XODIAC.
- Jang Min Seo
He competed under Woollim Entertainment but reportedly injured his knee, preventing him from continuing the show.
- Jung Hwan Rok
He competed under withHC. Using his stage name HwanRok, he made his official debut as a member of WithUs, the group that gained over 160,000 subscribers after just one fan video. The reasons for his departure are unknown.
